RAVE ON – A film by Nikias Chryssos and Viktor Jakovleski celebrates its world premiere at the Munich Film Festival in the New German Cinema section.
RAVE ON takes the audience deep into the world of a techno club and sends its protagonist Kosmo, an unsuccessful musician, on an exhilarating rave odyssey. The charismatic DJ and actor Aaron Altaras, known from the multi-award-winning series highlights ‘Unorthodox’ and ‘Die Zweiflers,’ shines in the lead role. He is joined by co-star Clemens Schick. With RAVE ON, directing duo Nikias Chryssos and Viktor Jakovleski have created an authentic and entertaining trip into the heart of the club scene. The film will be released in cinemas on 31 July 2025.

Kosmo was once a celebrated techno producer and DJ – until a fateful argument with his best friend on the night of their big breakthrough changed everything. While a new generation of DJs rose to stardom, Kosmo withdrew from the scene. But when he learns that legendary techno pioneer Troy Porter is on the line-up at one of the city’s most notorious clubs, he makes one last attempt to salvage his failed dream: he wants to personally hand him his latest vinyl record. What starts as a simple plan escalates into an existential trip full of unexpected encounters, pulsating bass and hallucinatory experiences.
Actor and DJ Aaron Altaras (‘Unorthodox,’ ‘The Doubters’) embarks on a wild rave odyssey deep into the heart of a Berlin techno club.
